A Day In The Life session on a beautiful autumn day in Surrey

“A morning In The Life” is a great photo session, definitely one of my favourites. It allows me to document in great detail a huge variety of unforgettable moments: the buzz and the energy of indoor and outdoor activities as well the relaxed and cosy moments at home.

This session with this family was just that; a perfect family autumn day in a beautiful part of Surrey. The children were an absolute joy to photograph. The whole day was like a crescendo of emotions and excitement; it started slowly with the family having a relaxed time watching a film and then, once we were out for a walk in the woods, the energy levels started to grow, and we had so much fun!

Back at home there was a little bit of time for playing whilst mum and dad were preparing a very tasty Saturday lunch. I must admit, I struggled to keep myself in the background. They all made me feel part of their family as soon as I arrived. We enjoyed having lunch together and it was such an amazing feeling!

I am a very curious person myself; I love to know what people’s passions and interests are. I asked the boys if they played any musical instruments at school and they ran off to get their violins and played, very skillfully, a few pieces for me.
